Reader transparency · draft template

On affiliate links.

Draft — requires review. This starter disclosure is not legal advice. Make it specific to the actual commercial relationships and links on your published website.

Our approach

Elsewhere does not currently identify affiliate partners or generate affiliate links in this starter website. Do not describe a paid or affiliate relationship unless it actually exists.

If we participate in a program

Before using affiliate links, identify the relevant types of links and explain clearly that Elsewhere may earn a commission when a reader books or buys through them, at no additional cost (only if true). Disclose the relationship prominently alongside each relevant recommendation as well as in this policy. Explain how compensation may affect recommendations and ensure the statement is accurate for every program.

Editorial independence

Describe how paid relationships are kept distinct from editorial choices, including how any exceptions are labeled. Replace these instructions with a truthful account of the publication's real practices before adding affiliate links.
