What this starter stores and requests

This site stores saved destination IDs and comparison selections in the browser’s local storage; a shared trip URL carries those place IDs in its query string. Local storage is not a browser cookie. Travel photography is currently requested from the Unsplash image CDN. When the interactive map approaches the visible page, map tiles are requested from the configured provider, currently OpenStreetMap's tile service. These third parties receive standard request information such as the visitor's IP address and browser details; the tile request also includes the page referrer. Review each provider's current privacy terms. This starter site does not include analytics or live advertising.

What may change

If you connect an email service, analytics, embedded media or advertising (including Google AdSense), those providers may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies. Identify the actual provider and technology, explain its purpose and retention, and provide any legally required notice and consent controls before enabling it.

Your choices
